House in Dublin 6

This family house needed to be opened up downstairs to create a better flow and orientate itself to the South Facing garden  . A 3 storey side extension in keeping with the general character of the road was constructed to the side, and complete renovation of the interior fabric of the house carried out to create a flexible series of interconnected rooms downstairs and 5 bedrooms upstairs. An attic room was created within the roof shape with views over the Dublin Mountains. Underfloor heating, internal insulation, new slimlite sash windows, bespoke 3m high french doors and solar thermal array contribute to this A energy rated renovation.
